hi@picolink.io
01 Which Bitly plan does Picolink Launch compare to?
Picolink Launch ($9/mo) maps to Bitly's Growth plan ($29/mo billed annually) for branded-link use. Bitly's cheaper Core plan ($10/mo, annual-only) has no custom domain and no password protection, so it isn't a fair comparison.
02 Can I bring more than one custom domain?
Yes — every Picolink plan includes unlimited custom domains with automatic TLS. Bitly Core has no custom domain, Growth gives you one, and you have to reach Enterprise to bring more.
03 Does Picolink support password-protected links?
Yes, on every plan — set a password on any short link and visitors enter it before being redirected. Bitly doesn't offer this feature on any public tier.
04 How does Picolink compare to Bitly Premium?
Bitly Premium is $199/mo (annual) for unlimited branded links and advanced features. Picolink Scale is $24/mo with unlimited links, unlimited custom domains, 1M events/month, and 3-year retention. Most teams find Scale a better fit at roughly an eighth of the price.
05 Will I lose my historical click data if I switch?
Picolink doesn't import historical clicks from Bitly, but your old short links can keep redirecting from Bitly while new links route through Picolink. Most teams cut over one domain at a time.
06 Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days, no credit card required. Try the full product on real traffic before deciding.
07 Does Picolink have a REST API?
Yes. The same REST API ships on every Picolink plan — create, list, update, and delete links programmatically. Plug it into CI/CD, Zapier, or your own tools.
